Orange Sponge
cakes
1 tablespoon gelatin
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup orange juice
3 egg whites
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup boiling water
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon salt
Soften gelatin in cold water. Dissolve in boiling water. Add sugar and salt. Stir until dissolved. Cool. Add strained fruit juices. Mix thoroughly. Cool until partially set. Beat until gelatin will hold its shape. Pile lightly in serving dish. 10 servings.
