Pineapple Frosting


cakes

1/2 cup water
3 tablespoon cornstarch
20 oz crushed pineapple, undrained
1 egg yolk
3 pkg equal
1/3 cup chopped nuts

Dash yellow food coloring. In med. saucepan combine water, cornstarch, pineapple and water; Cook over medium heat til thickened, stirring occasionally. Cool for 25 minutes. Add Equal, coloring and nuts. Source: newsletter Apr, '90. Dolores, Ohio 04/29 07:27 pm
