2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoon butter
3 tablespoon corn syrup; white
3/4 teaspoon baking soda

Put sugar, water, butter and syrup in skillet, boil until it turns brown, stirring constantly. Not too brown or it will taste scorched. Remove from fire, stire in soda. This makes it browner.
