Russian Cheese Babkacandies 2 pkg (8oz) cream cheese soft 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup butter 1/3 cup chopped red candied cherries 1 cup lg. curd cream style cottage 1/4 cup golden raisins 1 cheese 2 tablespoon diced candied pineapple 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup toasted almonds (optional) 1 tablespoon fine shredded orange peel 1 tablespoon lemon peel Combine first 7 ingredients, beat until smooth. Mix in remaining ingredients. With a moistened piece of cheescloth line a clean flower pot whole. Put in mix and put on a rack to drain in refrigerator overnight or longer.
