Lemon Crackers
cookies
2 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup shortening
2 tablespoon bakers ammonia
1 teaspoon oil of lemon
2 each eggs
2 tablespoon milk; new
1 pint milk; new
1 flour
Soak ammonia over night in pint of milk. Beat eggs seperately and ad 2 T. milk to yolks. Mix dough stiff and roll thin. Prick well with fork and bake.
