Orange Raisin Squarescookies 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup shortening 2 each eggs 1 cup sour cream 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 cup flour 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup raisins 1 each orange; small - rind of Add soda to cream. Grate orange peel. Pour hot water over raisins, then grind. Bake in large flat pan. Roll in powdered sugar or use orange icing. Note: No temperature give. Assume a slow 325 F. oven. Source: Mrs. W.
