Rocky Road Cookies

1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cup gold medal all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup chopped nuts
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 each eggs
48 each miniature marshmallows
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Heat margarine and 1/2 cup of the chocolate chips in 1 qt. saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently, until melted; remove from heat and cool. Mix remaining chocolate chips, the melted chocolate mixture and remaining ingredients except marshmallows. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Press 1 marshmallow in center of each Bake about 8 minutes or until almost no indentation remains when touched. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Cook on wire rack. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
