Lemon Snowballsdesserts 1/2 cup butter 2/3 cup sugar 2 teaspoon grated lemon rind 1 egg 3 tablespoon lemon juice 1 tablespoon water 1 3/4 cup flour 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans Makes 4 dozen Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease baking sheets. Cream fist six ingredients together. Sift flour, baking soda, salt and cream of tartar together and add to creamed mixture along with nuts. Make 1-inch balls and place 1-inch apart on baking sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes until cookies are light brown on bottom. Cool slightly and roll in powdered sugar.
